People need vitamins to grow, especially children. They enable our body to be healthy and will also toughen our minds. But not all people take vitamin supplements, for reasons such as that they are costly or some just do not want to take them. Children with ADHD often suffer from a zinc deficiency and magnesium deficiency. Thus, taking zinc and magnesium supplements can help with the symptoms. Some foods that contain magnesium are green vegetables or nuts and seeds. Signs of zinc deficiency include growth retardation, hair loss, delayed sexual maturation and impotence. Some foods that contain Zinc are; oysters, red meat, poultry and whole grains. There are also natural supplements for ADHD, which are known as Listol. Listol helps with the symptoms of ADHD.
